Team Denison Nunn Takes on the Seven Sisters for Sea Changers

Last week, nine members of the Denison Nunn team laced up their boots and tackled one of the toughest coastal walks in the UK, the Seven Sisters route from Seaford to Eastbourne.

The walk is famous for its dramatic chalk cliffs and equally dramatic climbs, and this one didn't disappoint: 11.41 miles, 2,041 ft of elevation gain, and a finishing time of 3 hours 49 minutes. It made for a brilliant, if occasionally leg-testing, day out for the team

 So, why Sea Changers?

We chose Sea Changers as our charity partner for this walk. They're a small UK charity, run largely by volunteers, that raises funds for grassroots marine conservation projects around the country.

Since 2011 they've distributed grants to hundreds of projects tackling issues like plastic pollution, habitat and species protection, and marine education, work that depends almost entirely on the kind of fundraising this walk supports.

As a team that spends a lot of time in and around the South Coast, supporting the people working to protect it felt like an easy choice.

Denison Nunn will be making a donation to Sea Changers off the back of the walk.
